Age and the effects of Parkinson's disease should not be a barrier to a fit and active lifestyle.  Tight, stiff muscles limit our normal range of motion, and we can increase our overall flexibility by gently stretching the muscles and tendons beyond their normal range of movement.  We incorporate dynamic stretching for our warm ups and static, passive stretching for our cool downs.  Breathing is important and we stress breathing slowly and deeply during all stretching exercises.
