Agility is a skill-related component of fitness.  We incorporate drills that require shifting weight from one foot to the other while moving side to side and forward and back.  Being agile helps regain and maintain balance.  Some of the drills we do include walking in a circle and changing directions; “rocking horse” forward and back; “pendulum swing” side to side; out-out-in-in, right foot lead; out-out-in-in, left foot lead; and stepping laterally into a side lunge with a curtsy.
